Those 90's rockers Green Day have the #1 album in the country this week with "21st Century Breakdown" but don't look for it "when you come around" to Wal-Mart. Green Day bid the retailer "good riddance" after they insisted on releasing a "clean version" to it's customers. Why does Wal-Mart censor CDs when they don't do the same with movies or video games that have adult content? Maybe it's because they know some recording artists will do anything to make a buck.

Like the band Queen, for example. Now that singer Paul Rodgers has decided it's "all right now" to end his 5 year "rock and roll fantasy" with the band, Queen are "under pressure" to find their next payday. Hey maybe they can hire American Idol finalist Adam Lambert! Don't laugh, guitarist Brian May has already hinted at working with the "killer queen" especially after their performance together on this season's finale.

Well, one queen who knows something about money is Mariah Carey. This week she spent thousands of dollars just to "make it happen" for every member of her entourage so they could attend the debut of her new movie "Precious" at The Cannes Film Festival. The only one who couldn't say "I'll be there" was Mariah's hairdresser, which reportedly sent the diva into a panic!

How could Mariah be so worried about her hair when everyone got to see her as a scruffy social worker in the new movie? Maybe Mariah will insist that Wal-Mart release a "cleaner" version of her character when it comes time for the DVD.
