Can you believe Rod Stewart has sold just as many albums in the past few years as he did in the entire 70's? It's true "some guys have all the luck", but not many from Stewart's era can say three of their last five albums went to #1. While Stewart's "Great American Songbook" series paid tribute to pop standards of the 30s and 40s, his new album, called "Soulbook", is a collection of more covers, this time showcasing his "infatuation" with Motown. And at age 64, "ya may not think he's sexy" but he's planning to stay "forever young" by having one more child.

If it's a girl, how about getting her a
Joan Jett Barbie doll?? This December look out for a "Ladies of the ‘80s” line featuring mini versions of Joan, Debbie Harry and Cyndi Lauper. Their clothing will vary from leather pants and hot pink high tops to fishnets. This may be the first line of Barbies to get a "bad reputation" for "loving rock and roll".

However the real question is, why doesn't Rock and Roll love
Hall & Oates? Well, the Hall of Fame that is! Talk show host and celebrity chef Rachael Ray has decided to go "one on one" with the Hall after learning the legendary pop duo are not yet members. Since Ray "can't go for that" she has "cooked up" a petition with hopes of "making her dreams come true".

You know, it IS hard to believe Hall and Oates haven't even been considered for the Hall of Fame, let alone inducted. How could they have missed that one? It makes you wonder if some members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation have their pilot license too.
